May your love grow. MFT movement

The concept of movement. I really struggled incorporating that into a card. I mean, I probably do it all the time, but when I sat down to think about it, I was stumped. But I finally came up with this.

This qualifies for movement right? :)

MFT Color Palette Challenge

This is my first time participating in the MFT Color palette challenge. I hope to do so every week as soon as I can get more paper ordered! I have been working on depleting my stash of paper. So far, so good.

The card base is from Kraft cardstock, the panels are cut from Blueprints 1 and 2. I stamped the Sheet Music Background stamp onto Nightshift blue paper with my Nighshift blue ink. Circle is fuse green and "birthday" stamped onto vellum with Versamark ink, and black embossing powder to top it off!

Cupcakes make everything better

I took this photo and uploaded it, not even thinking to make sure the entire thing was in focus.. So the sentiment at the bottom is slightly fuzzy, sorry! But it looks really good in person :)

Once again, my copic skills are needing some improvement, I received them for Christmas! (I was SO excited!) So I'm in the process of improving my coloring skills. If you have any tips, send them my way. Please.

supplies:
paper-I used all scraps on this one, not sure the brand.
dies- MFT pierce circle STAX, I also used the small oval punch from Stampin' Up!
stamps- the sentiment is from Amy R's Sweet Sentiments rubber stamps
copic markers

Ha! My eyes are killing me. I keep glancing up at the photo and having the bottom portion not in focus is driving me crazy, you'd think I would go ahead and take another picture... too lazy i guess!

Before I forget, check out the Seize the Birthday Blog! I'm linking this card to their site.

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

CAS(E) this sketch #57-enjoy your special day

Yay for days off and having time to craft! I've spent a chunk of my afternoon making cards. I love days when I can do that. My husband is studying for finals, so I was able to entertain myself.

For my card, I used a black card stock as my base, then all of the designer paper is from Fancy Pants 6x6 paper pack, It's a Wonderful Day.

The circle's were cut out using MFT's pierced circle stax.

Here's the inside:
