MFT Color Palette Challenge

This is my first time participating in the MFT Color palette challenge. I hope to do so every week as soon as I can get more paper ordered! I have been working on depleting my stash of paper. So far, so good.

The card base is from Kraft cardstock, the panels are cut from Blueprints 1 and 2. I stamped the Sheet Music Background stamp onto Nightshift blue paper with my Nighshift blue ink. Circle is fuse green and "birthday" stamped onto vellum with Versamark ink, and black embossing powder to top it off!

Huge Hugs- Sweet Sunday Sketch

I'm pleased with the card I made using the SSSC. my stamped image is from C.C. Designs Sunflower Lula. (C.C. Designs has great images! I have a handful and absolutely love coloring them).

After the card was all made and completed, I have to admit that the H on "Huge Hugs" had a baby wipe sitting by it for 5 seconds, I couldn't undo the damage. My desk gets so crowded once my creative juices start flowing... I seem to forget where I set things down, my baby wipes being one of them. :)

Happy Birthday!

I had a minute this morning to make a card! I got a day off from work. Isn't that the best? I've been so busy. I work every single day (which I really enjoy), but by the time I get home from work I am so exhausted and my body aches, that my first desire is to relax. Let me show you the card I made!

I used MFT 161 Sketch as inspiration.

A close up:

I used Blueprints 6 from MFT for the cute doily, fishtail flags layers STAX for the left panel (I trimmed the pointed ends off :) )

MFT Wednesday sketch challenge

I love the sketch from MFT for the past wednesday sketch challenge.

I LOVE MFT products. I'm anxiously waiting for Christmas because I think I've maxed out my "fall budget" for card making products. My husband reminds me this every time I'm looking on the MFT blog.

Back to the card... I literally made this in 10 minutes... which is a record for me! For some reason I have to look through all the stamps and dies I have before I can finally settle on what I'm going to do. Not today :)

using up some scraps

I don't know about you, but I have so many scrap pieces of paper laying around!! I need to dedicate a full day of just making cards from scraps. Speaking of which, I need to come up with a better way to store all of my scrap papers. Right now I have them in one of those 12x12 tubs. So when I'm looking for a particular color, I have to rummage through the entire box! Any recommendations on scrap paper storage?? Send them my way!!

I made this card with the intention of using some of the odds and ends pieces of paper. I think it turned out ok... enjoy!
