I love the sketch from MFT for the past wednesday sketch challenge.
I LOVE MFT products. I'm anxiously waiting for Christmas because I think I've maxed out my "fall budget" for card making products. My husband reminds me this every time I'm looking on the MFT blog.
Back to the card... I literally made this in 10 minutes... which is a record for me! For some reason I have to look through all the stamps and dies I have before I can finally settle on what I'm going to do. Not today :)

using up some scraps
I don't know about you, but I have so many scrap pieces of paper laying around!! I need to dedicate a full day of just making cards from scraps. Speaking of which, I need to come up with a better way to store all of my scrap papers. Right now I have them in one of those 12x12 tubs. So when I'm looking for a particular color, I have to rummage through the entire box! Any recommendations on scrap paper storage?? Send them my way!!
I made this card with the intention of using some of the odds and ends pieces of paper. I think it turned out ok... enjoy!

Wedding
You can never have too many wedding cards on hand. Someone I know is always getting married, and in my opinion, the best present to give is a gift card. AND you need something to put the gift card in... this card will do the trick!
I think this card has simple and classy written all over it. Extravagant cards are fun, but the simple ones can be very striking. What do you think?
The Mr. and Mrs. is a stamp I bought from Archivers... wish I knew the brand.
I think I'll be making a lot more cards similar to this.
Let's Celebrate YOU
Truth is, I started this card last night. I ran out of adhesive! My husband and I had to make a run to the store last night before Archivers closed so that I'd be able to finish this card. I think I turned out great! I need tips on how to take better pictures of my cards, the lighting doesn't seem to be working well. Which in turn, doesn't do justice for the paper on each card. However, in time my photos will improve!
I love using hemp cord! It's an addiction I have.
